Jeff and I were fortunate enough to be invited to attend the Australia Indo Asia Pacific International Land Defence Exposition held in Brisbane June 2021. We were hosted by J3Seven who have supported Forge Through from almost the beginning. We also managed to spend some time with another strong supporter, catching up with the team from Omni Executive whilst we were there.
To say it was an eye opening experience would be an understatement. It was the first Expo of this type that I had attended and I must say the technology and the calibre of people I met was outstanding. It appears that the reputation of the Forge Through Program had proceeded our attendance and there was a great deal of interest in the program from various industry members.
However the highlight for me was catching up with members of the Forge Through family that were in attendance representing their respective companies. We managed to drag them from their important discussions to grab a quick photograph to mark the event.
Jeff and I spoke to numerous people about the program and its intent and it appears to be widely accepted that our methods and delivery are what is needed in the support sector to really make a difference. We have always been confident that our style fits the bill, however validation is always welcome.
With some follow up to do over the next few days I am hopeful that we may be able to muster some financial support to assist with The Forge Through Program to continue long into the future. I really feel like we are just getting started.
